MacKenzie King are recruiting a Temporary Financial Accountant for a large local business, based in Ipswich. As a Temporary Financial Accountant you will be a part of a team responsible for financial compliance, financial risk management and financial controls across the group. This role is well suited to a detail-oriented individual that can work off their own initiative and support the wider team with excess workload.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Review monthly bad debt provision
Review monthly debtors & creditors reporting in line with deadlines
VAT returns
Assist in the production of statutory accounts
Preparation for year-end audit
Contribute to finance projects
Tax compliance and associated reporting
Finalise month end reporting
Corporation tax payments and review analysis working papers
Work with the team to ensure integrity, accuracy and timeliness of financial records
Ad hoc duties as required

Key Skills & Attributes:

Qualified Accountant is preferred but Qualified by Experience will be considered
Experience working in a group of companies
Strong communication skills
Proactive approach with strong attention to detail
Strong Excel Skills
Experience with Tax, including VAT returns
