Description
Financial Controller -FTC - Responsibilites:
- Oversee financial operations including accounting, budget, credit, insurance, tax, and treasury.
- Design and coordinate a wide range of financial reporting procedures.
- Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements.
- Develop and manage financial systems/models and carry out business modelling and risk assessments.
- Lead and manage a high-performing finance team.
- Provide strategic financial input and leadership on decision-making issues.
- Assist in formulating the company's future strategic direction and supporting tactical initiatives.
- Advise on investment activities and provide strategies that the company should take.
Profile
A successful Interim Financial Controller should have:
- Relevant qualifications in accounting or related field (aca/acca or cima)
- Exposure to SAGE 200 (ideally)
- Proven experience in financial control and strategic planning.
- Strong understanding of the industrial/manufacturing industry.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
