MacKenzie King are recruiting an Interim Management Accountant on a 6-month fixed term contract to join a renowned organisation based in Ipswich. This role will best suit an Interim Management Accountant that has a keen eye for detail, adheres to deadlines, and has strong experience with balance sheet reconciliations. 

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Prepare accurate and timely monthly management accounts
  • Work with budget holders to produce meaningful narrative and understand opportunities and risks within the organisation
  • Oversee and sign off payment runs and ensure accuracy and timeliness of payments
  • Prepare a monthly cash flow
  • Prepare month-end journals and Balance Sheet reconciliations
  • Support with reporting and analysis for grant applications
  • Participate in the preparation of the organisation’s annual financial statements
  • Other duties / ad-hoc support where required

  • Proven experience in a similar role
  • Strong Excel skills
  • Ability to multi-task, think creatively, and learn quickly
  • Ability to work independently under own initiative and cooperatively as part of a team
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact at all levels
