Job Title: Management Accountant

Location: Ipswich

Salary: Competitive

Hours per week: Monday to Friday - 09:00 - 17:30 - 37.5 hours per week

Role Overview

We are currently recruiting for a Management Accountant to join our passionate and driven team based at Ipswich

Key Responsibilities:

  • Month End management accounts production
  • Processing of accruals and prepayments as informed by operational teams in line with financial process and principles
  • Balance sheet reconciliations
  • Tracking and reconciling cash transactions through the business
  • Building relationships with other finance team members
  • Monitor completion of balance sheet reconciliations and support where required
  • Support the sales ledger team with income allocation and billing details when required
  • Assisting with audit queries and ensuring accurate working papers to support postings made

About You:

  • Applicants must have the right to work in the UK
  • Planning and diary management skills
  • Able to manage own workload and prioritise workloads to important deadlines
  • Clear communication skills (use of email and calls)
  • Understanding of catering or retail operations would be desirable to help improve understanding of data processing
  • Analytical skills to investigate variances and cost trends
  • Strong Excel skills including the use of formula and pivot tables using multi-system source data tables
  • Part qualified ACCA/CIMA or sufficient QBE demonstrated through previous positions held
  • Previously held a management accountant role
