A top national accountancy firm are seeking to hire into their Tax team in Ipswich.

This is a trainee position, with opportunities for progression within this expanding team, but applicants will need some related knowledge from working in tax to be considered. The firm will provide support and training to study towards the appropriate professional qualifications to support your development.

Responsibilities will include the following:

  • Assist in preparing personal and corporate tax returns, along with related forms
  • Manage key deadlines to ensure timely submissions
  • Advise clients on tax liabilities and obligations
  • Work with a diverse range of clients, including limited companies, individuals, and trusts
  • Liaise effectively with stakeholders, including HMRC, to ensure smooth communication
  • Engage in ad hoc project work as needed
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships
