Description

Temporary Management Accountant:

Prepare, develop and analyse key financial information to ensure management makes well-informed decisions.
Develop and manage financial systems and policies.
Contribute to long-term business plans, forecasts and budgets.
Provide a support service by working with all departments and the management team to help make financial decisions.
Ensure spending is kept in line with the budget.
Inform key strategic decisions and formulate business strategies.
Advise on the financial implications and consequences of business decisions.
Analyse financial performance and forecast longer-term horizons.

Profile

A successful temporary Management Accountant should have:

Part Qualified (ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
Experience in a similar finance role within the public sector.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to present financial data to non-financial colleagues.
Proficiency in MS Office and financial management software.
A high level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information.
