An established and supportive firm is seeking talented professionals for their Corporate Tax team, ideal for candidates currently working in general practice roles, such as accounts production or audit, with some experience in corporate or business tax. The firm offers flexibility in location across multiple offices, with a requirement for occasional travel to client sites within the region. The positions also incorporate agile working, allowing for an element of home working.
The RoleThese roles offer an exciting blend of responsibilities and genuine potential for career development. Working closely with senior managers and partners, successful candidates will engage in both tax compliance and advisory work. Responsibilities include drafting tax computations, letters, and reports for senior review, preparing client reporting documents, managing cost budgets, and contributing to various tax compliance and advisory projects.
The firm's client portfolio is diverse, encompassing corporate and business clients of all sizes and sectors, from small enterprises to large groups with multi-million-pound turnovers, as well as OMBs, subsidiaries of international companies, charities, and LLPs.
Alongside this as part of their policy to continually develop their staff, the firm provides full study support to pursue or continue CTA qualification.
Essential Skills and Qualifications- Professional Services Experience: Recent experience in a professional services environment and a working knowledge of corporate and business tax.
- Qualifications: ACA/ACCA or ATT qualified, or equivalent experience.
- Technical Aptitude: Strong interest in tax compliance, advisory planning, and the development of technical skills.
