Our team is passionate about making a positive impact, and you'll find strong camaraderie and support among colleagues.About us:This role is based at a specialist neurological centre in Ipswich, offering tailored support to individuals recovering from brain injuries or managing complex neurological conditions like Huntington's disease, Parkinson's, and multiple sclerosis. The centre provides innovative neurorehabilitation and long-term care, helping people improve their quality of life and regain independence.Main Purpose:As a Senior Physiotherapist, you will deliver high-quality physiotherapy care by assessing, implementing, and evaluating treatment programmes as part of a multi-disciplinary team. Your clinical expertise will help ensure that service users receive consistent and person-centred physical management.Main Tasks and Responsibilities:* Assess the needs of service users, focusing on enhancing independence and physical function.* Undertake comprehensive assessments, developing personalised rehabilitation plans.* Promote choice and actively seek feedback from service users to improve their care experience.* Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to deliver effective physiotherapy and care.* Ensure appropriate equipment is provided and maintained within available resources.* Maintain accurate records in line with professional standards, ensuring confidentiality.* Provide clinical leadership, offering supervision and training to staff.* Lead the localised training plan to enhance physiotherapy interventions within the service.* Maintain a safe working environment and occasionally take on additional tasks to support service operations.About You:* Diploma/BSc in Physiotherapy.* Valid registration with the Health & Care Professions Council (HCPC).* Membership of relevant professional body (e.g., CSP) and specialist interest group (e.g., ACPIN or ACPOPC), or willingness to join.* Evidence of Continued Professional Development.* Experience in a relevant setting, with the ability to apply evidence-based practice and outcome measures.* Strong clinical reasoning skills and experience in physiotherapy assessments and interventions.Rewards:* Competitive salary of £37,862.3 to £42,905.39 per annum (DOE).* 35 days' holiday, including bank holidays.* Pension contributions.* Blue Light Card for discounts on various brands and services.* Perkbox.* Access to Employee Assistance Programme (EAP).* Eye voucher scheme.* Long service and staff awards.* Free uniform and parking.We place a strong emphasis on employee wellbeing and career development.
