Field Service Engineer - Ipswich - 50,000 OTE - Excellent travel opportunities

Prime Appointments are excited to partner with a leading manufacturer of rotating machinery to recruit a skilled Field Service Engineer based in Ipswich. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to work with cutting-edge machinery, with travel to locations across the UK, Europe, and America. If you're looking for a dynamic role with international travel, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.

As a Field Service Engineer, you'll be responsible for commissioning, installing, and servicing machinery. You'll also provide technical support and troubleshooting to clients to ensure their operations run smoothly.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Commission, install, and service machinery both on-site at the Ipswich facility and client locations
  • Perform preventive maintenance on equipment
  • Provide remote and on-site technical support, resolving operational challenges
  • Travel across the UK, Europe, and America for installations and support

Required Experience:

  • Electrical engineering background (engineering qualification required)
  • Experience in automation is beneficial
  • Solid understanding of mechanical systems, electrical circuits, and control systems
  • Ability to read technical drawings and schematics
  • Experience with bearings and moving parts
  • A UK driving license is essential
