Prime Appointments are excited to partner with a leading manufacturer of rotating machinery to recruit a skilled Field Service Engineer based in Ipswich. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to work with cutting-edge machinery, with travel to locations across the UK, Europe, and America. As a Field Service Engineer, you'll be responsible for commissioning, installing, and servicing machinery. You'll also provide technical support and troubleshooting to clients to ensure their operations run smoothly.
Key Responsibilities:
- Commission, install, and service machinery both on-site at the Ipswich facility and client locations
- Perform preventive maintenance on equipment
- Provide remote and on-site technical support, resolving operational challenges
- Travel across the UK, Europe, and America for installations and support
Required Experience:
- Electrical engineering background (engineering qualification required)
- Experience in automation is beneficial
- Solid understanding of mechanical systems, electrical circuits, and control systems
- Ability to read technical drawings and schematics
- Experience with bearings and moving parts
- A UK driving license is essential
