Permanent Works Design Coordinator

What You'll Do:

Take the reins on design coordination for various heavy civil schemes, ensuring high standards and seamless integration across projects. While primarily based at our head office in Ipswich, occasional site visits will keep you connected with on-the-ground operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate permanent works design across multiple schemes, ensuring adherence to project specifications
  • Utilise programming software to manage and streamline design processes
  • Collaborate with site teams and provide critical design input to support project delivery
  • Maintain robust communication with all stakeholders to ensure alignment and smooth project execution
  • Conduct site visits as necessary to oversee and review design implementation

What We're Looking For:

  • Proven design experience on heavy civil engineering projects
  • Extensive site experience, with a minimum of Senior Engineer level experience
  • Strong skills in relevant programming software
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
  • Flexibility to travel to various sites across the network as required
