I am delighted to be partnering with a leading regional accountancy firm seeking to recruit an Insolvency and Recovery Administrator in a key role to both support and be a part of the Insolvency and Recovery Department in all day-to-day processes and procedures.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Maintain and progress various cases using Insolvency Practitioners System (IPS).
  • Drafting documents / letters from IPS and Business Recovery Department templates.
  • Attending case reviews with senior team members.
  • Liaising with directors, shareholders, accountants, solicitors and other third parties regarding appointments in both new and existing insolvency cases.
  • Fielding telephone calls and taking detailed messages where appropriate.
  • Preparing bills and maintaining budgets for portfolio of cases.
  • Preparing dividends and associated paperwork.
  • Listing and archiving debtor records.
  • Reviewing financial records.
  • Dealing with correspondence mainly by email and telephone.
  • Works closely with other members of the team in order to learn/develop knowledge of insolvency and to become familiar with firm procedures and the IRD procedures manual.
  • Maintain an up to date understanding of clients’ business.
  • Maintains good working relationships with client staff.

The successful candidate will ideally possess the CPI / ICAEW certificate in Insolvency and / or relevant insolvency experience with strong IT skills and excellent communication skills.
