Legal Cashier - Ipswich - Highly completive salary and benefits package

A well established law firm with a presence in London, Suffolk and Essex are currently seeking a new Legal Cashier to join their busy, sociable office based in Ipswich.

They are growing rapidly due to success, hiring almost 20 members of staff in the last 6 months. They have an excellent reputation in the market and a strong presence on social media.

The Role

  • Dealing with completions
  • Dealing with cheques
  • Posting client invoices and disbursements
  • Checking and processing bills
  • Posting card payments
  • Dealing with office and client account queries
  • Checking completion statements and supporting lawyers
  • Production of various reports as and when requested
  • Reconciliation of the firm bank accounts
  • CHAPS payments out
  • Compliance with relevant Finance policies and SRA rules and regulations

The Candidate

You will have previous legal cashiering experience, this is essential and a good knowledge of SRA rules and regulations relating to client & office accounts.
