Ideal candidates are either top-tier Band 7 professionals seeking advancement or current senior BMSs. We seek an enthusiastic and motivated individual to deliver a high-quality service, handling over half a million requests annually in our ISO 15189 and HCPC/IBMS accredited lab.Main Duties and Skills RequiredYou will manage the day-to-day operations of the haematology laboratory, collaborating with the service management team and senior BMS colleagues in haematology, coagulation, and blood transfusion. Responsibilities include staff training, performance appraisals, and HR duties, necessitating strong communication skills.The lab operates on a 24/7 shift basis, and you will join the out-of-hours rota once trained.
