We have the pleasure of working with an award-winning financial services business in Ipswich looking for a mortgage administrator to join their team. This particular business has a great working culture, specifically one that promotes hard work but also promotes positive social and wellbeing initiatives. You will be provided with a bespoke training programme to be able to help you undertake your role.

This particular role would suit somebody who has great customer service skills but is looking to progress and use them in a more technical and niche environment. The business promote internal promotions and a lot of their senior team came from roles similar to this in the business.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Undertake training to understand the technical elements of the role.
  • Be able to communicate clearly and effectively with customers and clients.
  • Reviewing and processing requests on behalf of the client.
  • Working to service level agreements and process information accurately.
  • Receive and resolve enquiries from customers and their advisors.
  • Ensure information on CRM systems are current and accurate.
  • Process any amendments to customer's accounts accurately
  • Ensure new customer information is onboarded accurately
  • Overseeing client accounts and ensure appropriate follow up is taken
  • Follow all procedures and regulatory requirements.
  • Liaise professionally with all third parties.
  • Communicate effectively internally.

Skills & Experience Required:

  • Experience in financial services is not essential - our client wants to nurture new talent. This could help you make this industry your career!
  • Mortgages, Insurance, Financial Services, Pensions experience etc would be beneficial
  • Excellent IT skills
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Problem solving skills
  • Ability to challenge information in a professional manner with third parties if needed
  • Ability to uphold standards and SLA's
