Our client is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated HGV Class 1 Driver to join their dynamic team, providing exceptional haulage services across the UK and EU. So what does the role look like?- Delivering goods safely and efficiently across the UK.
- Ensuring compliance with all traffic regulations and road safety standards.
- Conducting thorough pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections.
- Maintaining accurate transport documents and logs.
- Providing excellent customer service during drop-off and pick-up operations.
- Adhering to all company policies and procedures.
- Valid HGV Class 1 licence.
- A minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar driving role.
- Good understanding of transport legislation and regulations.
- Experience with long-distance driving required.
- Strong communication skills for liaising with clients and team members.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Basic IT skills for completing electronic logs and documentation.
- £15.50 per hour, plus overtime.
- Guaranteed 10 hours pay per shift.
- Night out fee included.
