The Project

As an experienced Setting Out / Site Engineer With their Own Kit, you will be working on a highways upgrade scheme in Claydon.

Requirements

For this role it is essential that you carry the following professional requirements as a minimum;

  • CSCS
  • SSSTS / SMSTS (Desirable)
  • First Aid (Desirable)

It is also essential that you hold the experience below;

  • Previous experience as a Site Engineer on Highways schemes
  • 4 years+ experience as a Site Engineer / Setting Out Engineer
  • Has own Setting Out Kit (topcon, Leica, etc)

The Role

  • Reporting to: Senior Engineer

Duties

  • Problem solving
  • Quality assurance
  • Setting out for the civils package
  • Oversee subcontractors when needed
  • Setting out and line levelling effectively
  • Implement and maintain safety protocols
  • Execute surveys and site investigations to collect relevant data for project planning
  • Liaise and communicate effectively with stakeholders, updating and supporting them with updates on project progress
