Remuneration: £25,000 - £33,000 + bonus
Benefits: Fully expensed car & full benefitsThe role of the Specification Technician - Flat Roofing Systems will involve:
- Specification Technician position dealing with various flat roof systems such as; felt roofing, green roofing systems, bitumen membranes, hot melt roofing, cold liquid applied waterproofing, waterproof roof coatings, single ply, structural waterproofing etc
- Checking incoming specifications against client and technical requirements such as sustainability and compatibly
- Reviewing roofing survey reports
- Providing technical advice to clients and Area Technical Sales Managers
- Carrying out calculations relative to waterproof design (thermal performance, drainage, wind loads, and PV)
- Fielding inbound technical enquiries via telephone
The ideal applicant will be a Specification Technician - Flat Roofing Systems with:
- Ideally will have a Technical background within the flat roofing / waterproofing market sector
- Must be able to read and interpret technical drawings
- Would consider architects, architectural technicians, surveyors, draughtsmen etc
- Ideally will have a construction related degree
- Strong technical skills
- IT literate (Microsoft Office)
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
