Bristow Holland is recruiting for an excellent opportunity for a Senior IT Infrastructure Engineer to join an exciting business on a fully remote basis. In this role you will play a key role in optimising and supporting internal and cloud-based IT infrastructure. In this role, you will also provide first-class systems support to global teams, ensuring software and hardware issues are resolved efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver efficient and professional 3rd line IT support services for systems including Microsoft 365, Dropbox, Atlassian, and Salesforce, as well as hardware such as laptops, mobile devices, firewalls, and networking equipment.
  • Ensure IT infrastructure is secure, scalable, and efficient across the globe.
  • Collaborate with the security team to maintain compliance with global security policies and support security systems and awareness programs.
  • Oversee IT asset management, including inventory and access controls for employees.
  • Manage IT suppliers, budgets, and performance targets in alignment with company objectives.
  • Implement change control processes to manage updates and enhancements effectively.
  • Drive process automation and efficiency by proposing innovative, data-backed solutions.
  • Manage IT equipment procurement for global new starters, ensuring readiness from day one.
  • Administer the company’s mobile phone accounts, including device ordering and usage audits.
  • Ensure robust backup policies and disaster recovery plans are in place.
  • Provide expert guidance on information security issues and conduct IT system risk assessments.

Key Skills:

  • Office 365 experience
  • Strong knowledge of AWS, Azure, or other cloud-based technologies.
  • Virtual server experience
  • Solid understanding of IT security and its practical applications.
  • Working knowledge of network management, VPNs, basic routing, and troubleshooting tools.
