We are looking for a motivated and customer-focused Account Handler to join a rapidly growing Commercial Insurance Brokerage based in Ipswich. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a solid understanding of Insurance, ideally with Commercial experience, to advance their careers within a innovative and forward-thinking company.

The Role:

As an Account Handler, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional service to Clients, ensuring their Insurance needs are met with professionalism and clarity. Responsibilities include:

  • Managing incoming enquiries and delivering precise, customized quotes using specialised software tools
  • Maintaining direct communication with clients via phone and email, ensuring a smooth and personal customer journey
  • Offering expert advice on a range of Insurance products, focusing on customer satisfaction and clear, straightforward communication
  • Working as part of a close-knit team, you will be responsible for upholding the company's values and delivering a high standard of service without a sales target focus

This is not a call centre role - you will be handling direct enquiries and providing a personalised service, building strong, long-term relationships with Clients

What We're Looking For:

  • Insurance Experience: Prior experience in business insurance is essential, with Commercial Insurance knowledge being a strong advantage
  • Excellent Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills are a must, as you will be guiding Clients through their options and providing clear, concise advice
  • Client-Centric Approach: Dedicated to providing exceptional service, with a talent for explaining policies in a clear and accessible manner tailored to small business owners
  • Team Player: You'll need to work well within a supportive and collaborative team environment
