About the role:

You will play a crucial role in our manufacturing process, ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality with minimal tolerances. This is more than just a job; it's an opportunity to innovate and excel in a forward-thinking company. In this role, you will be working 37 hours a week (Monday – Thursday 08:30 – 16:30, Friday 08:30 – 16:30) the hourly rate is between £14- £17 per hour.

Main duties and responsibilities:

  • Interpret and execute customer product design drawings to perfection.
  • Set up and run mainly vertical machining centres with a 4th Axis.
  • Programme both online and offline as needed.
  • Expertly handle a range of high-specification materials, including Stellite, Inconel, Duplex, alongside Carbon, and Stainless Steels.
  • Deliver finished products produced to an exceptionally high standard.

You should have the ability to work effectively under pressure and meet strict deadlines. A forward-thinking mindset, eager to challenge the status quo and drive development, is essential. Passion for engineering, consistently pushing the boundaries and embracing the latest technology advancements, is a must. Additional training will be provided to enhance your skills further.
