Are you a skilled machinist looking for a new role within engineering? Do you have any experience operating or running CNC machinery? If so, we are looking for a skilled machinist to operate & run a bespoke CNC machine for an engineering firm in Ipswich, Suffolk.
This is starting on a rolling tempoary basis paying a starting salary paying circa 16ph+, with overtime paid at increased rates of pay!
40 hours a week, standard working hours.
The machine you will be running is not a common machine you will see in most workshops so training will be supplied, however we are still only considering applicants with engineering backgrounds.
Skills Required: -
- Must have had CNC setting & operating experience (ideally on lathes)
- Previously operated manual mills & lathes
- Must be able to read from technical drawings
- Knowledge of CNC controls
This company specialise in heavy engineering so you will need to be physically fit to meet the demands of the role.
