Your new roleOur client is looking for an experienced and dedicated Site Manager to oversee a residential conversion project. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing commercial builds, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and safety. Key responsibilities include:
- Manage day-to-day operations on the construction site.
- Coordinate and supervise subcontractors and construction workers.
- Ensure the project is completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
- Monitor and enforce safety regulations and protocols.
- Conduct regular site inspections and address any issues or delays.
- Liaise with clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders.
- Prepare and maintain project documentation and reports.
- Resolve any on-site conflicts or issues promptly and effectively.
What you'll need to succeed
- Proven experience as a Site Manager in commercial construction, particularly in conversion projects.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and legal regulations.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- CSCS, SMSTS and first aid
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
