Your new companyYou will be working for a principal contractor that works across various sectors including commercial, industrial and residential. This company has achieved steady growth over recent years and has a solid pipeline covering the next decade. Your new roleOur client is looking for an experienced and dedicated Site Manager to oversee a residential conversion project. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing commercial builds, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and safety. Key responsibilities include:

  • Manage day-to-day operations on the construction site.
  • Coordinate and supervise subcontractors and construction workers.
  • Ensure the project is completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
  • Monitor and enforce safety regulations and protocols.
  • Conduct regular site inspections and address any issues or delays.
  • Liaise with clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders.
  • Prepare and maintain project documentation and reports.
  • Resolve any on-site conflicts or issues promptly and effectively.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Proven experience as a Site Manager in commercial construction, particularly in conversion projects.
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and legal regulations.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
  • CSCS, SMSTS and first aid
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
