Your new companyYou will be working for a unique principal contractor based in Suffolk who work across a variety of build types, including residential, industrial and commercial. Over recent years they have consistently grown and are looking to add an experienced construction manager/ senior contracts manager to their team.Your new roleAs the construction manager, you will oversee all aspects of their construction projects, ensuring they are completed safely, on time and within budget. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Plan, coordinate, and supervise construction projects from start to finish.
  • Develop project schedules and ensure adherence to timelines.
  • Manage project budgets and control costs.
  • Oversee subcontractors and construction crews.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes.
  • Conduct regular site inspections and address any issues promptly.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders.
  • Prepare and present project progress reports.
