Construction Site Agent - Suffolk Highways, Ipswich
Are you an experienced Construction Site Agent looking for an opportunity to lead and deliver high-quality highway projects? TRIbuild Solutions is recruiting for a freelance role on the Suffolk Highways contract, offering an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional.
This position is a 3-4 month contract, rates negotiable, inside IR35.
Your Role:
As a Construction Site Agent, you will play a crucial role in the successful delivery of planned works, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee site operations, ensuring adherence to HSEQ standards
Coordinate labour, materials, equipment, and subcontractors
Engage with stakeholders, including local authorities and community groups
Ensure robust safety measures and compliance
Support commercial teams to maintain project profitability
Keep detailed project records and reports
Assist with construction programming and method planning
Work closely with key supply chain partners to enhance efficiency
What We're Looking For:
Qualifications: IOSH/SMSTS, CSCS (HNC/Degree preferred but not essential)
Experience: Strong background in managing highway or infrastructure projects
Skills & Attributes: Leadership, cost control, problem-solving, teamwork, and a commitment to safety
Requirements: A full, clean driving license
