Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Compliance and Building Safety Manager to join our team in Ipswich. This is a fantastic opportunity for a professional who is passionate about ensuring safety and compliance within the built environment. You will play a crucial role in maintaining a compliant and safe environment for our residents and visitors.
Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with various M&C teams, Service Areas, and stakeholders to ensure all compliance inspections are conducted at the appropriate frequencies and in a timely manner.
  • Ensure that all rectification actions are allocated, completed to a high standard, and properly recorded.
  • Oversee the following inspections and assessments:
    • Annual Gas Safety Inspections
    • EICR Electrical Inspections for individual properties and homeowners' supplies
    • Fire alarm testing
    • Emergency lighting checks
    • Fire risk assessments
    • Water risk assessments
    • Legionella inspections
    • Lift inspections
    • Portable appliance testing
    • Lightning conductor inspections
    • RIDDOR reporting
    • Asbestos management
    • Firefighting equipment checks, including AOVs, sprinkler systems, and dry risers
    • Near miss reporting
