Senior Contracts Manager

Clearfield have partnered witha prestigious construction company renowned for delivering high-quality projects across a range of sectors. We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Contracts Manager to join theirdynamic team in Ipswich.

You will oversee projects up to 15 million, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards. Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the planning, execution, and completion of construction projects up to 15 million.
• Manage and mentor a team of project managers, site managers, and other construction professionals.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and other stakeholders.
• Monitor project performance and implement improvements where necessary.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Prepare and present regular project reports to senior management.
• Manage project risks and implement mitigation strategies.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the team and projects.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Senior Contracts Manager or similar role within a tier 1 or tier 2 contractor.
• Demonstrated experience managing construction projects up to 15 million.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• In-depth knowledge of construction processes, contracts, and regulations.
• Proficiency in relevant project management software and tools.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Commitment to quality, safety, and client satisfaction.
• Relevant degree or qualification in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
