A unique opportunity has arisen for a Reporting Manager with knowledge of strategic management, reporting frameworks and data analytics to join a very exciting project in the nuclear industry.

  • Job Title: Reporting Manager
  • Location: Ipswich (Hybrid)
  • Duration: 6 months (with option to extend)
  • Rate: £45 per hour (Inside IR35) + Expenses

Key Responsibilities/Skills:

  • Manage and embed a reporting framework across the SZC project and establish  reporting standards to position SZC as an industry leader.
  • Drive the use of digital reporting tools to enhance productivity and accessibility while ensuring visual clarity and narrative consistency in all reporting outputs.
  • Support the establishment of a business intelligence framework for strategic insights and collaborate with MDs, functional heads, and delivery teams to continuously improve report quality.
  • Demonstrable experience managing reporting frameworks within regulated environments and ability to manage teams, assure data accuracy, and edit reports with attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with reporting and analytics software (cloud platforms preferred).
  • Expertise in preparing high-quality reports for executives and boards.
  • Knowledge of project controls functions, including earned value analysis and contract types (e.g., NEC, FIDIC).

Qualifications:

  • Degree in business analysis, project management, finance, engineering, or related fields (Desired)
  • Membership of AACE, PMI, or APM, with relevant certifications (Desired)
  • Professional chartered status (Desired)
  • Experience in construction or the nuclear sector.
