Opus People Solutions are recruiting on behalf of Suffolk County Council for temporary Business Support Officer to provide day to day administration support around processes and procedures to the Social Worker Teams and Managers in the Adoption and Fostering Service. This role will predominantly support the Adoption and Fostering Team. We are looking for someone to work within the Business Support team to ensure effective delivery of the wide range of work undertaken across the services

Typical responsibilities of a role at this level would be to undertake a comprehensive range of administrative duties to support the efficient delivery of services, administer business processes and procedures, organise meetings, develop expertise and knowledge of administrative systems within own service area, provide an efficient and customer focused first point of contact, draft and send routine correspondence and administer group email boxes.

The right candidate would have demonstrable experience of working in a business support environment, strong organisational, interpersonal, communication and administration skills, ability to prioritise and multi-task in order to meet competing deadlines, excellent IT skills.
