Time Appointments are excited to be working on behalf of a worldwide logistics specialist who are currently recruiting for an experienced Customer Service Coordinator to join their Ipswich office. This is a fantastic opportunity for a Customer Service driven, and commercially aware individual.

Our client pride’s themselves on delivering the highest level of customer service to all their customers and are now looking to take on an experienced professional to help deliver this service.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Liaising with existing and potential customers.
  • Answering customer queries via telephone or email.
  • Liaising with relevant operations to ensure the clients’ requirements can be delivered
  • Creating and processing orders from bookings received.
  • Balancing the needs of both the customer and the client to ensure a high level of service is provided to the client within both operational and financial constraints.
  • Handling any customer query or operational problem.
  • Compiling, maintaining, and transmitting records or KPI’s for customers upon request
  • Day-to-day liaison with customers, terminals, suppliers, and colleagues internally and across the European network.
  • To undertake any other tasks as and when required, and within your skill and ability.

Skills & Experience Required:

  • Similar experience gained within the Shipping & Logistics Industry
  • A genuine passion for providing excellent customer service and maintaining effective business relationships to exceed customer expectations.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, written and verbal
  • A high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Highly motivated, with drive and determination
