Customer Service Sales Support

We are seeking a Customer Service Sales Support professional to join our client's team on a 6-month temporary assignment. The successful candidate will be pivotal in processing customer orders with precision, ensuring timely deliveries, and maintaining high service standards. This role is ideal for someone with a proactive approach, a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service, and the ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment.

Day to Day of the Role:
  • Process customer orders accurately and efficiently within 24 hours of receipt.
  • Monitor sales orders to ensure delivery deadlines are met, communicating any delays to customers immediately.
  • Manage forward orders and back orders by monitoring stock availability and completing purchase orders.
  • Log customer interactions and activity accurately within the company’s CRM system and via email.
  • Resolve customer queries and issues, ensuring satisfaction and maintaining high service standards.
  • Collaborate with logistics and sales teams to ensure smooth order processing and delivery schedules.
  • Maintain and update customer information on the internal system, such as addresses, prices, and specific requirements, to ensure accurate completion of orders.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Prior experience in customer service or a related field.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a professional and courteous demeanour.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with experience in CRM/ERP systems being beneficial.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage and resolve queries effectively.
  • Ability to work well within a team while managing individual responsibilities efficiently.
  • Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Confidence in your own abilities, with a willingness to learn and develop.
  • A passion for providing excellent customer service.
  • A confident communicator who understands that a positive attitude yields great results.
