Customer Services Representative

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Customer Services Representative to join a dynamic team. This role is pivotal in liaising with customers and overseeing transport operations across European markets, offering the chance to develop customer relationships and ensure the delivery of high-quality service that consistently meets or exceeds expectations.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Liaising with customers, suppliers, and colleagues within a European network to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Managing incoming and outgoing transports, creating orders from bookings, and processing orders via an upload portal with high accuracy.
  • Monitoring portal production, ensuring timely updates and data transmission to the Transport Management System (TMS) and ferry booking systems.
  • Inputting and updating rates in the CRM system, creating order templates in the TMS, and sending accurate quotations to clients.
  • Balancing customer needs with company objectives to maintain high service levels within operational and financial constraints.
  • Handling customer queries and operational issues, providing solutions and maintaining a professional company image.
  • Compiling and maintaining records or KPIs as required, and undertaking additional tasks as needed.

  • Flexible approach to work, able to handle multiple tasks.
