As a Locomotive Fitter you will be working on a varied shift pattern and will be offered a starting salary 45500.
We are looking for Technicians from a heavy engineering background including ex forces.
As a Locomotive Fitter your role will include various tasks such as:
- Maintain, service, fault find and repair locomotives in accordance with approved maintenance plans
- Ensure all relevant paperwork for examinations and repairs is correctly completed to company standards
- Maintaining high standards of housekeeping to ensure a clean and safe environment
Competencies required for a Locomotive Fitter would be:
- Commitment to safe working practices
- Apprentice trained or time served
- Experience in electrical and/or mechanical maintenance activities
- Knowledge of locomotives advantageous
