About the role:
As our part-time cleaner, you will play a vital role in maintaining the high standards of cleanliness that Seven Hills Crematorium is known for in Suffolk. Working 4 hours a day, 5 days a week, you will ensure our chapel, restrooms, staff areas, and offices are immaculate and welcoming. This role can be shared between two individuals, each working together for 2 hours per shift. Your efforts will directly enhance the visitor experience and uphold our reputation as the premier crematorium in the region. Your working hours will be Monday – Friday 16:45 – 20:45.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Maintain cleanliness of the Chapel and surrounding rooms through vacuuming, dusting, and general tidiness
- Ensure restrooms and staff kitchen areas are spotless, including cleaning fixtures, mirrors, and floors
- Use disinfectants to sanitise all necessary areas
- Ensure all bins are emptied and liners replaced
- Secure and lock up premises after shifts
About you:
We are seeking candidates who are trustworthy and possess strong time-management skills. While previous professional cleaning experience is preferred, it’s not essential. As our location has limited public transport links, being a car owner is essential. Your dedication to maintaining cleanliness will contribute to the comforting environment we strive to offer.
