Our client, a leading bespoke interior design business based in Ipswich, is seeking a skilled CAD Designer with expertise in AutoCAD to join their creative team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a design professional to contribute to high-quality, tailor-made interior solutions and be part of an innovative company renowned for its exceptional craftsmanship.
Key Responsibilities:- Produce detailed 2D and 3D drawings using AutoCAD, supporting the design and delivery of bespoke interior projects.
- Collaborate with clients and internal teams to develop and refine design concepts in line with project specifications and aesthetic objectives.
- Prepare technical documentation and drawings for manufacturing and installation, ensuring accuracy and adherence to industry standards.
- Make adjustments to designs based on client feedback and evolving project requirements.
- Liaise closely with production teams to ensure designs are both practical and manufacturable.
- Maintain organized records of design files and project documentation.
- Proven proficiency in AutoCAD; familiarity with additional design software (e.g., SolidWorks, SketchUp) is an advantage.
- A diploma or degree in Design, Architecture, Interior Design, or a related field.
- Previous experience in bespoke interior design or a related industry is highly desirable.
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on producing precise and high-quality designs.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with clients and team members.
- Effective time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
This is for a long term contract role starting in January offering a pay rate of between £30 to £45 per hour depending on experience.
