Our client is looking to add an electrical estimator to their preconstruction team. The role has come about due to organic growth following a significant growth phase.
The business is widely recognised within their industry of building services and they have a company history spanning over 25 years accumulating in a fantastic reputation and people based success.
The role will sit within the Estimating department and be amongst a small estimating team, with the hired individual taking the lead and charge of electrical services quotes.
ROLE:
- Providing accurate electrical services quotes
- Managing tender & cost processes
- Reviewing tenders
- Working closely with other internal departments such as the legal & contracts team and the technical team
- Maintaining control of the costings sheet
- Site surveys
- Site investigations
- Liaising with clients
- Daily workings with estimating software
- Reporting
- Team meetings
- Mentoring
CANDIDATE:
- A solid a career background in Electrical Estimating within the building services sector
- Holds commercial, educational and health project experience
- Experienced working on projects ranging from 250K to 5million pound projects
- Strong ability to learn and work with new estimating software
- Exceptional organisational and communication skills
- Strong time management / deadline hitting skills
- Able to commit to a full time permanent role, which will be fully office based
