We are currently recruiting for a Deputy Care Home Manager to provide an exceptional level of care and support to residents and families.


Key responsibilites of the role:
  • Assist the Care Home Manager in the day-to-day management of the home, ensuring the delivery of high-quality care to all residents.
  • Lead, motivate, and support a dedicated team of care staff to provide person-centered care in line with regulatory standards.
  • Ensure compliance with CQC regulations and company policies, including safeguarding, health and safety, and infection control.
  • Oversee care plans, medication management, and documentation to ensure accuracy and legal compliance.
  • Provide guidance and support in staff training and development to ensure continuous improvement.
  • Monitor and maintain the well-being of residents, fostering a safe and comfortable living environment.
  • Assist in recruitment, staffing, and performance appraisals, ensuring a motivated and effective team.
  • Support with managing budgets, resources, and operational aspects of the home.

Key requirements:
  • Experience in a senior care role, preferably within a nursing home or similar healthcare setting.
  • A valid nursing qualification (RN/RMN/RGN) is preferred but not essential.
  • Strong leadership and management skills with the ability to inspire and develop a team.
  • A thorough understanding of CQC guidelines and regulations.
  • Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Passion for delivering high-quality care and improving the lives of residents.
  • A compassionate and patient-centered approach.
