Electrical Design Engineer

As an Electrical Design Engineer, your duties will include:

• Design of safety systems.
• Detailed design of electrical cabinets.
• Responsible for originating all electrical drawings.
• Responsible for originating all pneumatics drawings.
• Actively participate in build and run up testing of machines.
• Support build and commissioning teams with electrical fault diagnosis.
• Assist controls engineer on commissioning activities.
• Responsible for electrical safety, electrical risk assessments and standards compliance.
• Origination of electrical BOMS

To be considered for the Commissioning Engineer role, you must have:

• 5 years minimum experience in designing machine electrical systems from start to finish
• Experience using SolidWorks would be an advantage
• IOSH or equivalent health and safety would be ideal
• Knowledge of different motor drive technologies such as DC, Stepper and AC Motors
• Excellent communication skills
