Electrical Engineer required for a permanent position with Suffolk based engineering company. This varied role involves travel mainly around East Anglia (with only occasional nights away - company vehicle provided) assisting with final stages of installation, commissioning and modification of electrical control systems at food and beverage manufacturing sites. Occasional electrical maintenance also required. Basic 40-hour week with regular overtime.
Duties will include:
- Conduct commissioning activities for electrical and control systems, including testing, troubleshooting, and documentation
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure successful system integration and functionality
- Develop and execute commissioning plans and procedures
- Perform root cause analysis to identify and resolve technical issues
- Provide technical support during the installation and startup phases of projects
Applicants must have a recognised BTEC / C&G / NVQ 3 / ONC / HNC electrical qualification or equivalent, an in depth understanding of electrical drawings and systems and previous electrical commissioning, installation or maintenance experience of control systems within manufacturing/production.
