Electrical Engineer/ Onsite Engineer - We are looking for an experienced Electrical Engineer/ Onsite Engineer to join our team based in Saxmundham, Suffolk.

About the role:

As the Electrical Engineer/ On-Site Engineer, you will report directly to the Operations Manager and play a pivotal role in maintaining our manufacturing machines. Your commitment to timely machine maintenance and rapid response to breakdowns will be essential in maximising production efficiency and minimising disruption. You'll work hand-in-hand with our talented team, sharing valuable insights and coordinating repairs with external contractors as necessary. We embrace a digital-first approach, so you should be comfortable working with electronic systems to document maintenance activities.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Conducting timely scheduled maintenance on manufacturing machines
  • Executing repairs and authorised modifications efficiently
  • Maintaining comprehensive and accurate maintenance records within our ERP system
  • Providing expert engineering advice for machine modifications and upgrades
  • Managing PolarSeal's red tag' repair system proactively
  • Aligning with Lean 6S principles to optimise workflows
  • Participating in daily huddle meetings and actively engaging in continuous improvement initiatives
