Position: Temporary Electrical Engineer
Location: Ipswich
Hours: 40 hours per week
Role Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Temporary Electrical Engineer to join our team in Ipswich. This static role will primarily focus on daily reactive and routine Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) activities within a commercial building. The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring incoming works, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently, and maintaining high standards of compliance and customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine PPM tasks and address reactive work as needed.
- Supervise sub-contractors in accordance with company processes.
- Ensure complete statutory and non-statutory compliance at all times.
- Maintain up-to-date site log books and documentation.
- Keep plant rooms and work areas tidy and organised.
- Provide excellent customer service, demonstrating politeness and courtesy in all interactions.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Relevant electrical engineering qualifications.
- Previous experience in a commercial building maintenance environment.
- Strong understanding of PPM and reactive maintenance processes.
- Ability to supervise and manage sub-contractors effectively.
- Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
