Clearfield Recruitment have partnered witha leading specialist in the design and manufacture of control panels and automation systems for the food and beverage industry. We are seeking an experienced Electrical Project Engineer to join theteam and contribute to their growing portfolio of machinery design and automation projects.
Key Responsibilitiesof this role will include:
- Design electrical systems for machinery in the food and beverage sector.
- Plan and manage electrical installations for automated control systems.
- Collaborate with clients and internal teams to understand project requirements and specifications.
- Develop and design control panels and automation systems that meet both customer needs and industry standards.
- Oversee installation, commissioning, and testing of electrical systems in factory environments.
- Provide technical support during project development and post-installation phases.
- Ensure that all projects adhere to health, safety, and compliance regulations.
The ideal applicant will possess:
- Proven experience in electrical design for factory automation, preferably in the food and beverage industry.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, control panels, and industrial automation.
- Proficiency in using design software for electrical engineering (e.g., AutoCAD Electrical, EPLAN, or similar).
- Experience managing multiple projects from design through to installation.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage project deadlines.
The successful applicant can expect to receive:
- Competitive salary in the region of 55,000.
- Company car or truck provided.
- Full-time, stable position with a 40-hour working week (Monday to Friday, 8am - 4:30pm).
