My client is looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Panel Wirer to join their dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical assembly and mechanical knowledge, with the ability to work with various tools and technologies. This role is essential in ensuring the accurate assembly of control panels and wiring systems, contributing to the overall efficiency of their operations.

Duties

  • Wiring control panels according to specifications and technical drawings.
  • Utilise surface mount technology for efficient component placement.
  • Employ hand tools and power tools for precise assembly tasks.
  • Conduct wiring of logic controllers and other electrical components.
  • Perform quality checks to ensure all assemblies meet industry standards.
  • Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to safety protocols.
  • Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot any assembly issues that may arise.
  • Testing panels to verify functionality and identifying faults.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in panel wiring or a similar role is preferred.
  • Strong mechanical and electrical knowledge with the ability to understand technical drawings.
  • Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
  • Familiarity with logic controllers and electrical systems is advantageous.
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
