Job Description:Responsibilities:• Electrical Testing: Conduct regular electrical inspections and testing to ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.• Fuse Board Replacements: Replace and upgrade fuse boards to enhance electrical safety and efficiency in residential units.• Smoke Detector Upgrades: Install and upgrade smoke detectors to meet current safety standards and provide reliable fire detection systems.• Maintenance and Repairs: Perform routine maintenance and emergency repairs on electrical systems within social housing properties.• Compliance: Ensure all work complies with relevant health and safety regulations and industry standards.• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of all inspections, tests, and repairs conducted.• Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to residents, addressing their electrical concerns and ensuring minimal disruption during work.Qualifications:• Experience: Proven experience as an electrical contractor, preferably in a social housing or residential setting.• Certification: Valid electrical certification and qualifications (NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds 2391, AM2 and 18th Edition required).• Knowledge: Strong understanding of electrical systems, safety regulations, and testing procedures.• Skills: Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.• Communication: Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with residents and team members.• Driving License: Valid driving license and willingness to travel to various housing sites.We look forward to hearing from you.Job Type: FreelanceContant Joshua Jacob at hunterskill recruitment or apply via email.
