Job Title: Electrician
Salary: 40,000 to 45,000
Holiday: 21days + Bank Holidays

Our client is a leading renewables company with a reputation for delivering quality installs in and around the Suffolk areas. Due to continued growth they are seeking additional members of staff to join their established team. Theyare seeking a skilled and experienced electrician to join their team as a Renewable Energy Electrician for which full traininng can be provided for a qualified electrician who is looking to move into the renewables sector.The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and servicing renewable energy systems, with a focus on Solar PV, Battery Storageand ASHP.
Key Responsibilities
Renewable Energy Installations:
- Install and commission solar PV, Battery Storage and Air Source Heat Pumps (ASHP) in residential properties.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations during installations.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues related to renewable energy systems.
Electrical Work:
- Perform electrical wiring, connections, and testing for both renewable energy systems and general heating installations.
- Safely handle electrical components, ensuring proper grounding and insulation.
- Diagnose and repair electrical faults as needed.
Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, including installation details, maintenance logs, and safety checks.
- Provide clear and concise reports to supervisors and clients.
Customer Interaction:
- Communicate effectively with clients, explaining the benefits of renewable energy systems and addressing any concerns.
- Offer guidance on energy-efficient practices and system usage.
Qualifications and Skills
- Hold a Level 3 or above qualification in Electrical Installations.
- Familiarity with renewable energy equipment and installations, especially Solar PV, Battery Storage and ASHP (full training can be provided)
- Excellent problem-solving abilities to diagnose and resolve technical issues.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for client interactions and team collaboration.
- Driving Licence
- Comply with health and safety regulations during all work activities.
