Industrial Electrician / Permanent / Ipswich / Salary offer at 40,000

Position 1 Recruitment is seeking an Industrial Electricianto join our client's engineering team. This role will primarily involve traveling throughout East Anglia, especially in the Essex region.

As an Industrial Electrician you will be working on a range of projects across East Anglia. The role involves travel to various sites, with occasional overnight stays may require.


Key Responsibilities:
- Removal and installation of distribution boards (DBs)
- Running new electrical circuits
- Installation of lighting systems
- Working with both single-phase and three-phase electrical systems
- Wiring and installing pumps and motors
- Installation and commissioning of pre-built control panels
- Fault-finding, repair, and installation within control panels and level monitoring equipment
- Interpreting and understanding electrical wiring diagrams
- Performing periodic testing and ensuring compliance with relevant standards
- Testing your own installations where required

The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding and experience in industrial electrical systems. A Level 3 electrical qualification and 18th Edition certification are desirable. Must be capable of reading and interpreting electrical wiring diagrams and technical documents, and able to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.

Flexibility to travel and stay overnight when needed is required; all costs are covered, and a company van is provided. Guidance and training will be offered, but candidates must have their own hand tools.

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, with flexible hours (typically 8:30 am to 5:30 pm).
