Job Title: Civils Senior Engineer
Location: Ipswich (Travel Required)
Salary: Up to £60,000

About the Role:
We are seeking a hands-on Senior Engineer with a strong civil engineering background to join a growing and dynamic team working on major infrastructure and construction projects across the UK. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys being on-site, is happy to travel nationwide, and wants to be involved in delivering complex and challenging works from the ground up.
 
Key Responsibilities:
·Lead and manage site engineering activities across multiple civil projects
·Set out and oversee works in accordance with project drawings and specifications
·Supervise and mentor junior engineers and site teams
·Ensure quality control and compliance with health, safety and environmental standards
·Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and stakeholders to maintain smooth project delivery
·Assist in planning, procurement, and progress reporting
·Maintain project records including ITPs, QA documentation, and site diaries
 
Requirements:
·Degree or equivalent in Civil Engineering or related field
·Extensive experience in site-based civil engineering roles
·Comfortable working away from home with regular nationwide travel
·Proficient in setting out, surveying, and interpreting technical drawings
·Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills
·CSCS card essential; SMSTS and First Aid desirable
·Full UK driving licence
