Are you a Graduate or similar with CAD design experience, seeking an opportunity to transition into a Design Engineer role with a leading manufacturer of commercial cooling equipment?
In this role you will be working closely with the Development Project Team and will be required to design new or improved products for manufacture. You will ensure that all design work meets the technical specifications and continuously seek ways to improve product design and reduce production costs.
This company has been established for over 50 years and specialises in providing refrigeration and cooling solutions across various industries such as retail, food manufacturing and cellar conditioning markets.
This role would suit a Graduate with design experience looking for the opportunity to progress within a leading specialist company who offers plenty of training, with a great work-life balance.
The Role:
- Ability to design and improve products
- Ensure that throughout the development process, attention is focused on quality and efficiency as well as cost
- Work as part of a Development Project Team to design new or improved products for manufacture.
- Ensure that all design work meets the technical specifications of a project
- Hands on training on company software
- Monday to Friday, 40 hours a week
The Person:
- Experience with Computer Aided Design
- Experience of Autodesk Inventor or Solid Works software (advantageous but not essential)
