My Client is seeking a Water Metering Technician for an initial 12-week temporary contract with the potential for a permanent role.
The position requires obtaining accurate readings from water meters, carrying out meter exchanges, collecting meter data, and providing excellent customer service.
Candidates should have a customer-focused attitude, a professional image, and basic IT skills as the role involves using a handheld computer.
The salary for this position is equivalent to £27,453 per annum, along with a company van and the potential for additional earnings based on targets.
Candidates should be located within 30 minutes of Ipswich/Hadleigh and be prepared for a physically demanding role that involves walking 3 to 8 miles per day.

My Client are seeking a Water Metering Technician on a initial 12 week temporary contract with an aim to move into a permanent role if the 12 weeks goes well!

Your day-to-day activities will include: - Obtain accurate readings from water meters - Carry out meter exchanges – (Full training will be provided) - Collect meter data - Lastly and most importantly provide excellent customer service

Skills:- Customer focused individuals - A professional image is very important - we will provide you with a uniform and van - The role can be physically demanding as you will walk in the region of 3 to 8 miles per day. - You will also use a handheld computer to carry out your work, so basic IT skills are required

Other info:Salary is equivalent to £27,453 PA + company van with the potential to achieve more on target earnings

Full time, 37 hours a week - Flexible hours between of 6:30 to 20:00, including some hours on a Saturday when required to meet customer needs

Location - Ipswich/ Hadleigh - candidates need to be located within 30 minutes of this location
