Project and Support Officer

Project and support Officer required for 12 month contract at large organisation based in Ipswich. The successful candidate will be supporting a team across several areas including project management, dealing with complaints and casework, co-ordinating reports, analysing data, performance management and carrying out research.

Main duties will involve:

  • Reviewing performance management processes and data to identify potential areas of improvement and preparing recommendations
  • Dealing with complaints and casework, resolving issues in a timely and proficient manner
  • Facilitating and/or carrying out service reviews as directed and making recommendations on possible improvements
  • Analysing data and providing robust commentary on trends and likely outcomes
  • Providing demonstrable project management skills to support 3 new large projects as well as providing performance management and risk management skills and support
  • Contributing to the production of publications

Previous project management experience and ability to produce and analyse accurate and relevant reports in a variety of formats is essential along with the ability to provide commentary around accurate trend analysis. Applicants must be educated to degree level (or equivalent) or have proven technical and organisational knowledge in a project or business planning environment together with a working knowledge of a broad range of IT applications. PRINCE2 qualification would be advantageous.

Hours of work are 37 per week Monday to Friday, the position is fixed term for 12 months. Salary 18.26 - 19.20 p/h dependent on experience.
