Skills & Experience Required:
- Extensive proven event project management and leadership skills, including the ability to manage budgets.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Outlook with a high level of attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as creative flair should come naturally.
- Accurate, methodical approach to work, with excellent attention to detail.
- Flexible and adaptable around working hours and the ability to work calmly under pressure and meet strict deadlines
- Professional attitude with demonstrable ability to exercise complete confidentiality
Key Duties & Responsibilities Include:
- The successful planning, implementation, and management of corporate and social events, conferences, and exhibitions and roadshows
- Managing the delivery of events and associated budgets, ensuring efficient running of the annual events and conference calendar
- Negotiating corporate rates across all event delivery to ensure best budgetary value
- Collaborating with all associated departments to publicise and promote events
- Managing and overseeing events, including problem solving, welcoming guests, directing event set-up, and communicating with staff and organising vendors as appropriate
